A Tradition of Excellence
Since its beginnings, Let's Dance has grown into a much-anticipated event, with students of all ages and backgrounds taking part. It's not just about the performances—it's about the memories made, the friendships formed, and the confidence gained. Every year, the Brighton Dome is filled with excitement as dancers take to the stage, ready to show off months of hard work and dedication.
Organised by Dorothy Stringer School since 2005, the festival has flourished into a multi-day event, giving every school the chance to showcase their best routines in front of a live audience. From the youngest beginners to more experienced dancers, Let's Dance is an inclusive event that celebrates the joy of movement and creativity in all its forms.
Why Let's Dance is Special
At its core, Let's Dance is about more than just dance—it's about community. Year after year, students, teachers, parents, and friends come together to support one another and celebrate the accomplishments of Brighton's young dancers. The event has become a place where lasting memories are made, where students gain confidence and stage experience, and where Brighton's vibrant artistic spirit shines through.
Whether it's the emotional farewells of schools performing for the last time, or the excitement of newcomers stepping onto the stage for the first time, Let's Dance holds a special place in the hearts of everyone involved.
