Student Choreography Shines
Many of the pieces in the 2018 show were choreographed by the students themselves, showcasing their creativity and passion. Performances like "Piper Alpha", "Beneath", and "Drop" used themes from the new GCSE dance specifications, demonstrating the students’ ability to connect real-world events and concepts to their choreography.
The success of the 2018 Dorothy Stringer Dance Show was due in part to the dedicated backstage team. With the support of the Brighton Dome staff and the school’s production team, the event was delivered with professional precision, allowing the students to focus on their performances.
